Here are a few, slight audio recordings I made in the Old Forest in late May, around 7 p.m.

Hopefully we'll be able to make some more, of higher quality and longer duration.
Enjoy.

this is really great. From my backyard, 1/4 mile north of the forest, I hear (and sometimes see) horned owls, little green herons, and hawks. Hawks aren't unusual, but I LOVE hearing the owls and seeing/hearing the herons. That's all about the old forest and Lick Creek.
What a lovely multi-layered buzz of insects and birds!
That's an ice cream truck in the last track, yeah?
